I should know. I was just like you. Raised in New York City, I was part of all the hustle and bustle. Until I spent a weekend in the country. I started coming up weekends.
But that didn't last too long. The more I came up, the less I wanted to go back. Until I moved up here full-time and began my career in real estate.
That was 26 years ago and I've never regretted my decision. I was managing a real estate office in Woodstock when I purchased one of my own listings in Saugerties—a property with two houses. I lived in one and opened Casa Blanca Real Estate in the other in January of 2002.
